Letter From ISB President Dr. Paul Beggs

Dear Visitor to the ISB Website,

The International Society of Biometeorology (ISB) welcomes all visitors to this website. Whether you are a member of the Society, a non-member scientist with an interest in biometeorology, from government, industry, the media or the public, I hope you find the website interesting and informative regarding both biometeorology as a topic and the International Society.

The interdisciplinary science of biometeorology is of great importance and relevance in the world today, with applications in many sectors and issues of importance to life on earth. The ISB has many outstanding scientists amongst its members, and it actively seeks to support students and new professionals with an interest in biometeorology. As President of the Society, I aim to significantly develop and enhance the Society over the coming years, and I welcome feedback, comment and questions, from anyone regarding the ISB and biometeorology.

Yours sincerely,

Dr Paul Beggs
